Supplier Quality Engineer Associate (Summer 2026)

  • Associate positions typically last for twelve weeks, and are salaried roles designed for students who have already received a bachelor's degree (or who will have done so before working at Astranis).
  • The Supplier Quality Engineering Intern will work on solving quality issues with suppliers, implement new processes and support the daily operations of the team.

Role

  • Drive failure mode and root cause analyses, and implementation of corrective actions.
  • Design quality requirements and specifications.
  • Outline inspection and testing plans, and define re-processing and repair methods.
  • Monitor suppliers' performance and purchased parts' status, and communicate status to management.
  • Support manufacturing process development at supplier sites.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, supply chain, or a similar discipline
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve complex problems
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
