In this role as a Staff Product Manager, Growth, you will lead the Growth team and deliver products and capabilities for Checkr’s growth funnel, with a focus on signups, conversion, user activation and lifetime value per customer for the company’s self-serve business.  As the Staff Product Manager for Growth, you will play a pivotal role in driving the expansion of our user base while ensuring an exceptional user experience throughout the entire customer journey.

  • Roles and responsibilities include creating the growth strategy for the domain, scoping and leading development of new product features, analyzing data and performing user research, and managing a high-performing cross functional team that includes engineering, data, design, marketing, legal and others.

What you’ll do

  • Work on growth focused initiatives such as increasing self-service customer conversions, improving the onboarding experience, creating engagement loops, and expanding product usage across the self-serve customer segment (i.e. PLG).
  • Understand the customer journey from smaller purchases online to multiple product attach and repeat behavior. Optimize conversion strategies to drive overall growth (reach and revenue).
  • Develop and drive a meticulously prioritized Growth experimentation roadmap that aligns with business performance and customer needs.
  • Lead test experimentation across multiple surfaces to unlock incremental business value while improving customer experience.
  • Prototype growth ideas rapidly using AI tools and from time to time push these directly to production.
  • Regularly surface experimentation findings, insights, and opportunities back to cross-functional teams and Executive leadership.

What you bring

  • 5+ years of product management experience, including recent B2B/PLG growth ownership, with a strong track record of driving measurable results.
  • End-to-end product ownership at the intersection of business, technology, and user experience.
  • Customer-first mindset grounded in data, experimentation, and strong business judgment.
  • Proven ability to bring structure to ambiguity and lead complex, cross-functional initiatives across global teams.
  • Strong technical fluency and product intuition, driving high-quality feature development and seamless integrations.
  • An A-player mindset with a strong bias for action: you raise the bar, move with urgency, stay resilient through ambiguity, and take ownership to deliver meaningful outcomes.

What you’ll get

  • A fast-paced and collaborative environment
  • Learning and development allowance
  • Competitive cash and equity compensation, and opportunity for advancement
  • 100% medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • Up to $25K reimbursement for fertility, adoption, and parental planning services
  • Flexible PTO policy
  • Monthly wellness stipend
