Manually support the testing of new features across iOS, Android, and Web, including regression, exploratory, and acceptance testing
Execute sanity checks on Duolingo release and branch builds, and help validate bug fixes before and after deployment
Write clear, detailed, and reproducible bug reports, and collaborate with engineers and teammates to help diagnose issues
Learn Duolingo products deeply and ask thoughtful questions about expected behavior, edge cases, and learner experience
Identify potential quality issues and raise risks with guidance from more senior QA teammates
Help prioritize testing tasks within your assigned projects, focusing on areas with high learner impact
Advocate for Duolingo learners by evaluating features for correctness, clarity, and usability
Follow and contribute to existing QA processes, documentation, and procedures, while learning how quality scales across teams
Collaborate within cross-functional teams, communicating progress, questions, and blockers clearly in a fast-paced environment
Graduated in December 2025 or will be graduating in Spring 2026
Friendly, approachable, and easy to work with

Comfortable breaking things and paying close attention to details
A clear communicator who can collaborate with designers, PMs, and engineers
Creative and able to think outside the box

A GPA of 3.5+

We post a multi-level salary range for all of our roles.
