What will you be doing?

  • Formulating hypotheses and extracting relevant insights from product usage, user behaviour, and market data to inform product development and support business growth.
  • Defining, monitoring, and analysing key product metrics to drive data-informed decision-making.
  • Setting up and maintaining web analytics tools and event tracking to gain a deeper understanding of user behaviour and product usage.
  • Performing business case calculations to prioritise the development of new products or features and to assess their post-release impact.
  • Building dashboards to support product teams and other stakeholders in tracking progress and making informed, data-driven decisions.
  • Collaborating closely with Product Managers, User Researchers, Engineers, Data Warehouse teams, and business stakeholders to share insights and align on objectives.

Ideally, you would have

  • 3–5 years of proven experience as a Product Data Analyst or in a similar data-driven role, with a track record of turning data into actionable insights.
  • Hands-on experience with web analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Hotjar, Mixpanel, Amplitude, or comparable platforms.
  • Proficiency in SQL for sourcing data, and experience building dashboards using tools like Tableau.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret product and user data, identify issues, calculate the business impact of new solutions, and advanced proficiency in Excel.
  • Solid understanding of business context to deliver relevant data and insights that inform product development decisions.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a data-driven approach to identifying issues and supporting product teams in creating effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
