Key Responsibilities

  • Effectively present InterSystems HealthShare solutions and the InterSystems IRIS for Health® data platform to all relevant audiences and stakeholders in the DACH healthcare sector (including hospitals, software vendors, health networks, ministries, etc.).
  • Identify and develop new customers while maintaining and expanding existing relationships.
  • Understand the competitive landscape and the relevance of InterSystems technologies within customers' IT infrastructure or partners' development portfolios.
  • Regularly meet with customers and prospects, including the development of strategic account plans.
  • Sustain and grow networks with key decision-makers in the industry.

Experience and Qualifications

  • At least 8 years of relevant sales experience in the healthcare industry
  • Experience in software sales is an advantage
  • Proven track record of increasing revenue by acquiring new customers and well-known partner accounts in the healthcare sector
  • Existing network of decision-makers in healthcare institutions (hospitals, health insurers, health networks) and with industry-specific software vendors
  • Background in the software industry, ideally in solution selling involving databases, middleware, data analytics, or interoperability platforms
  • A “hunter” profile focused on acquiring new customers through partners, with the ability to maintain customer interest throughout the sales cycle
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, plus excellent interpersonal abilities
  • Knowledge of IoT and machine learning is a plus
  • Experience in software sales is an advantage

Education

  • University degree or equivalent
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
