Key Responsibilities
- Effectively present InterSystems HealthShare solutions and the InterSystems IRIS for Health® data platform to all relevant audiences and stakeholders in the DACH healthcare sector (including hospitals, software vendors, health networks, ministries, etc.).
- Identify and develop new customers while maintaining and expanding existing relationships.
- Understand the competitive landscape and the relevance of InterSystems technologies within customers' IT infrastructure or partners' development portfolios.
- Regularly meet with customers and prospects, including the development of strategic account plans.
- Sustain and grow networks with key decision-makers in the industry.
Experience and Qualifications
- At least 8 years of relevant sales experience in the healthcare industry
- Experience in software sales is an advantage
- Proven track record of increasing revenue by acquiring new customers and well-known partner accounts in the healthcare sector
- Existing network of decision-makers in healthcare institutions (hospitals, health insurers, health networks) and with industry-specific software vendors
- Background in the software industry, ideally in solution selling involving databases, middleware, data analytics, or interoperability platforms
- A “hunter” profile focused on acquiring new customers through partners, with the ability to maintain customer interest throughout the sales cycle
- Strong communication and presentation skills, plus excellent interpersonal abilities
- Knowledge of IoT and machine learning is a plus
- Experience in software sales is an advantage
Education
- University degree or equivalent
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
