• Work as a quality specialist embedded in a cross-functional agile development team focusing on product quality. Agile teams consist of developers, product and quality specialists collectively responsible for all stages of product development from design to validation.

• Duties & Responsibilities:
• The duties initially assigned include, but are not limited to:
• · Contribute as a subject matter expert in a cross-functional agile development team building and maintaining healthcare software solutions.
• · Design detailed testing scenarios to validate application functionality and performance.
• · Record test scenarios into automated regression scripts using InterSystems test automation toolkit.
• · Coordinate the execution and review of automated test libraries.
• · Investigate and document functional, usability and performance issues detected by automated test runs.
• · Liaise with other departments and subject matter experts during investigations.
• · Coordinate and plan regression script coverage for release validation.
• · Perform ongoing maintenance on automated test libraries.
• · Creation and maintenance of documentation including functional specifications, user stories, agile processes, and team reports.
• · Other duties may be directed by the company from time to time.
• Requirements:
• · 5+ years of experience in a clinical informatics related field
• · Tertiary education in healthcare (ie. nursing, pharmacy, respiratory therapy), information technology, or related field.
• · Demonstrated interest in IT and the application of technology to add value and/or solve problems.
• · Strong computer skills are essential, scripting or test automation experience is an advantage.
• · Application testing expertise is desirable especially in healthcare applications.
• · Previous experience working with healthcare applications as an end user or vendor.
• · Experience working with interdisciplinary teams.
• · A flexible and adaptable approach to learning new methodology, technologies, and software products.

• InterSystems is providing a current good faith estimate of the anticipated base salary range for this position depending on a variety of factors including experience, education, skills, and performance.
• Other compensation may include a discretionary annual variable target incentive.
