Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver and support complex technical implementations and customisations across InterSystems platforms.
  • Analyse enhancement requests, assessing feasibility, risk, and development effort.
  • Provide technical guidance to project managers and implementation teams.
  • Develop, test, troubleshoot, and optimise integrations and platform configurations.
  • Resolve acceptance issues pre- and post–go-live and support live environments.
  • Produce and maintain high-quality technical documentation and training materials.
  • Participate in peer reviews, on-site implementations, technical training, and extended support rotas.
  • Mentor team members and contribute to continuous improvement of delivery quality.

Experience Required

  • Strong technical background in software development, integrations, and data-driven systems.
  • Proficiency in web technologies (HTML, JavaScript), SQL, and database concepts.
  • Experience working in client-facing roles and delivering within fixed timelines.
  • Ability to analyse complex technical problems and communicate solutions clearly.
  • Experience producing technical documentation and delivering technical training.
  • Knowledge of healthcare systems, NHS environments, and integration standards (e.g. HL7, HIE).
  • Desirable experience with InterSystems technologies and cross-platform integrations.
  • Degree-level education or equivalent professional experience, with flexibility to travel and support customers on-site.
