The Opportunity

  • We are looking for a manager to lead our Data Enablement team, which owns the "last mile" of our data stack.  You will drive the creation of curated data marts, semantic definitions, and visualization strategies that turn raw telemetry and business data into usable insights.  You will manage our analytics assets like a portfolio of products where success is defined by adoption, trust, and the speed of decision-making.
  • Beyond the technical execution, you will be a trusted advisor to Product and Engineering leadership. We are seeking someone who proactively shapes the questions we ask, ensuring our data strategy solves actual business problems rather than just fulfilling requests. You will lead a team of analytics engineers and analysts, guiding them away from reactive support work toward full ownership of our data ecosystem. This is a pivotal role where you will set the standard for how Auth0 uses data to drive decision-making.

What you’ll be doing

  • Lead the delivery of trusted data products and semantic models that serve as the source of truth for the company.
  • Mentor and develop a talented team of data professionals while fostering a culture of ownership and technical excellence.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering leadership to define measurement strategies that align with business goals.
  • Translate ambiguous business problems into executable engineering roadmaps and technical specs, ensuring the team has a clear path to delivery.
  • Oversee the architecture and governance of our BI environment, ensuring scalability and trust in our data.
  • Go beyond reporting to drive product accountability, using forecasting and metric monitoring to surface trends and strategic opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to identify gaps in our data collection and drive instrumentation improvements upstream.
  • Drive the integration of AI and LLM-based tooling to improve the user experience for data consumers and reduce time-to-insight.

What you’ll bring to the role

  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or BI, with a clear track record of shipping complex data products.
  • 2+ years of people management experience, specifically leading technical teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with SQL and modern data stack technologies (e.g., dbt, Snowflake, Airflow).
  • Experience with data visualization platforms (Looker, Tableau) and semantic modeling.
  • BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field.

How you’ll stand out

  • Experience implementing GenAI or natural language interfaces for analytics.
  • Background in identifying product growth opportunities through data.
  • Experience working in a large-scale, public technology company.
  • MS or PhD in a quantitative field.
  • Builds Effective Teams: Building strong-identity teams that apply their diverse skills and perspectives to achieve common goals.
  • Demonstrates Self-Awareness (EQ): Using a combination of feedback and reflection to gain productive insight into personal strengths and weaknesses.
  • Develops Talent: Developing people to meet both their career goals and the organization’s goals.
  • Drives Results: Consistently achieving results, even under tough circumstances.
  • Strategic Mindset: Seeing ahead to future possibilities and translating them into breakthrough strategies.
