Role Overview We are seeking a Senior Manager, People Business Partner to lead the People strategy for our APJ region (excluding India). Based in Singapore, you will partner directly with the SVP, General Manager of APJ and serve as the strategic consultant to regional leadership  ensuring our talent strategy scales with our business objectives. As a Senior Manager, you will manage a team of two People Business Partners, providing them with mentorship and direction while personally advising senior regional executives. Reporting to the Global PBP Leader for Field Sales, you will ensure that global strategies are localized effectively across APJ’s diverse markets while maintaining high-performance standards across the board. Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Regional Strategic Advisory: Provide expert counsel to APJ executives on organizational development, change management, and team effectiveness. You will act as a "truth-teller" and coach to leaders navigating high-growth challenges.
  • Team Leadership: Direct and develop two People Business Partners. You are responsible for their performance, career growth, and the consistent delivery of HR services across your territory.
  • Talent & Succession Advocacy: Drive the regional talent agenda, focusing on enhancing leadership quality and building a robust succession bench for critical regional roles. Global & Regional Alignment: Partner with the Global PBP Leader for Field Sales to ensure regional initiatives align with global business motions, while providing the necessary "APJ lens" to global programs.
  • Workforce Strategy: Collaborate with Finance and Global PBPs to drive the APJ workforce plan. Maintain deep knowledge of regional budgets and product roadmaps to ensure proactive human capital allocation.
  • Complex Coaching: Guide managers through the resolution of complex People issues, including high-stakes performance management, total rewards, and regional labor relations (excluding India).
  • Data-Driven Insights: Analyze regional People metrics to identify trends in retention and engagement. Propose evidence-based solutions to improve the employee experience and sales productivity.

Knowledge & Requirements

  • APJ Regional Expertise: Strong knowledge of labor practices and market nuances across Singapore, Australia/NZ, Japan, Korea, and SE Asia. Managerial Acumen: Proven ability to lead and inspire other HR professionals; you are a mentor who raises the bar for your team.
  • Executive Presence: Ability to build immediate credibility with senior leaders (VP/SVP level) and navigate complex matrix structures.
  • Agility & Resilience: Thrives in a fast-paced technology environment; able to maintain high standards of deliverables under pressure. Effective Communicator: Exceptional ability to influence and communicate across diverse cultures and various levels of the organization.

Education & Experience Requirements

  • Experience: 10+ years of HRBP experience in a high-speed, global technology or software company.
  • Leadership: Minimum of 2 years of experience managing or leading a team of high-performing PBPs.
  • Scope: Experience supporting a diverse regional headcount of 500+ employees across multiple APJ countries.
  • Functional Breadth: Demonstrated success supporting a variety of functions, with a preference for experience in a high-growth Sales environment.
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent professional experience.
  • Technical Literacy: Strong ability to utilize data and HCM systems (e.g., Workday) to make informed business decisions.
  • Builds Effective Teams: Building strong-identity teams that apply their diverse skills and perspectives to achieve common goals.
  • Demonstrates Self-Awareness (EQ): Using a combination of feedback and reflection to gain productive insight into personal strengths and weaknesses.
