Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and Develop: Directly manage, mentor, and coach a team of Web Producers (currently 5), fostering a collaborative, high-performing, and consistent team culture.
  • Workflow Oversight: Own and manage the day-to-day operations of the web production queue, ensuring effective triage, assignment, and execution of all content publishing requests.
  • Process Efficiency: Establish, document, and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for content publishing, quality assurance (QA), and technical troubleshooting to ensure the team operates efficiently and consistently.
  • Service Level Agreement (SLA) Management: Define, monitor, and ensure adherence to SLAs for all web production requests, driving on-time and high-quality content delivery.
  • Global Quality Assurance (QA): Oversee the rigorous QA process for all published content, ensuring accuracy, brand alignment, functionality, and compatibility across various devices and browsers, globally.
  • Issue Resolution: Serve as the escalation point for complex publishing issues, technical roadblocks, or performance concerns, coordinating resolutions with relevant development and IT teams.
  • Performance Insight: Provide regular reporting and insight into team performance, SLA compliance, content volume, and key operational metrics to senior leadership.
  • Strategic Roadmap: Develop and execute a future-focused strategy for the Web Production team, including technology adoption and process evolution.
  • AI Integration: Actively research, propose, and lead initiatives to integrate AI capabilities and automation tools to drive significant efficiency and consistency within the web production lifecycle.
  • CMS Optimization: Collaborate with web development and product teams to identify and implement enhancements and optimizations to the Content Management System, supporting the team's needs and scaling for future growth.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven experience (7+ years) in web production, content management, or a related digital operations role, with a focus on high-traffic, global corporate websites.
  • Minimum 3+ years of direct people management experience, including coaching, performance management, and career development.
  • Deep expertise in managing content management systems (CMS) and complex web publishing workflows (experience with Adobe Experience Manager is highly desirable).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage high-volume production queues and enforce stringent SLAs in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using web analytics tools (Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics) to measure and report on operational performance.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proven ability to influence stakeholders and present complex data to leadership.
  • Strategic mindset with a demonstrated interest or experience in leveraging new technologies, specifically AI or automation, to drive operational improvements.
