What You'll Do
- Lead a team with a headcount of 20+ freelancers
- Implement impactful quality and efficiency projects
- Build a dynamic, proactive, and high-performing team
- Own your team’s KPIs and its performance
- Collaborate with the engineering teams on process automation
- Escalate all risks and incidents early and unambiguously
- Execute change with speed
Requirements
- Extensive people leadership experience (3+ years)
- Proven knowledge of business process design, management, and optimization
- Comfortable working remotely in an international environment
- Confident spreadsheet user (pivot tables, nested formulas)
- Excellent communication skills in Japanese
- Sufficient English read/write skill for internal communication
Nice to Have
- Experience in life sciences industry (education or professional experience)
- Experience in master data operation
- Experience in using Upwork
- Good verbal communication skill in English
