About You and The Role

  • We’re looking for our first Regional Sales Leader (VP level) to establish a successful, repeatable Outside Sales motion and subsequently build a high-performing team to scale it throughout the Texas/Sunbelt region.
  • As a Regional Sales Manager, you will focus on bringing on the most desirable merchants onto the Zipline platform. Your first task will be to directly source and close new merchant leads in your region, followed quickly by building a team of Regional Merchant Leads (Outside Sales Representatives) operating across the Sunbelt region who are focused on increasing our selection and accelerating our sales process. You’ll oversee the daily operations of this team. In this role you will report directly to the US SVP of Sales and GTM who will support you as you build your playbook and team.

What You'll Do

  • Drive an effective sales process: source to close to attain/exceed your sales targets
  • Effectively articulate the benefits of Zipline’s solution to prospective customers
  • Evangelize and articulate the benefits of Zipline to prospective customers
  • Actively prospect to develop qualified leads
  • Rigorously qualify opportunities
  • Design and execute account plans and strategies for all target accounts
  • Craft tailored content, including presentations, proposals and custom ROI analyses

  • Demonstrated experience building and leading successful, high-growth inside and/or outside sales teams for novel products and or solutions
  • A process and metrics orientation
  • Ability to iterate quickly to establish the right motion and right hiring profile for your team
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills that build confidence and credibility
  • Demonstrated ability to drive stakeholder mapping, develop relationships with decision-making business stakeholders, and maintain a network of relationships to promote partnerships
  • Inherent self-sufficiency, flexibility and confidence, with a preference for autonomously owning activities that drive revenue
  • Exceptional ability to analyze customers’ business situations from multiple viewpoints to identify gaps/opportunities, and align proposed solutions with the customer’s strategy and goals
  • Collaborative approach to sales that includes working with multiple groups both internally and externally
