Drive innovation by questioning assumptions, exploring emerging technologies, and pushing for better ways to solve tough UX challenges.
Design with impact, creating human-centered experiences that simplify complexity without sacrificing power or precision.
Collaborate deeply with engineers, product managers, domain experts, and fellow UX designers to bring bold ideas to life.
Prototype and iterate to discover what works—leveraging research, testing, and storytelling to shape products from concept to launch.
Help evolve the UX strategy and design language for a large healthcare application.

10+ years of experience as a user experience designer (UXD), user researcher, or similar.
Experience designing complex enterprise software. Domains could include healthcare (EHRs), finance, government, supply chain or other.
Proficiency with industry-standard software for designing and prototyping (We often use Figma).
Ability to think both creatively and analytically.
Strong storytelling, verbal, and written communication skills.
Team oriented and self-motivated.
A continuous learning mindset.

Experience working with LLMs and designing human in the loop workflows.
Familiarity with terminology from healthcare-related domains.
Degree in Human Computer Interaction (HCI), Interaction Design, Psychology, Graphic Design, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Machine Learning, or a related field.
A portfolio or examples of your work that illustrate your approach and results.
Understanding of W3C and 508 accessibility guidelines.
InterSystems is providing a current good faith estimate of the anticipated base salary range for this position depending on a variety of factors including experience, education, skills, and performance.
Other compensation may include a discretionary annual variable target incentive.
